Quality Management

DKW emphasizes quality from start to finish. We begin with in-depth contract-level planning and integrate the knowledge and skills we acquire into contract deliverables. Our approach focuses on objective and consistent inter- and intra-team communications, allowing our team to continuously adapt to evolving customer requirements, while still guaranteeing a quality outcome.

Our experience with dozens of successful engagements tells us that by empowering our project managers, team leaders, and individual team members to execute corrective action, as appropriate, our deliverables will achieve or exceed customer expectations for excellence. Since our processes are assessed at CMMI Level 2, founded on the Six Sigma concept of DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control), we are able to make precise measurements, identify exact problems, and provide measureable success.

At DKW, we strive for excellence in all aspects of business and believe that both continuing educational and professional certifications help us to better meet our clients’ needs.

  • CMMI-DEV Level 2 – DKW project performance has been assessed at CMMI-DEV Level 2
  • If you cannot manage it you cannot control it
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) – applicable to all services contracts, at a minimum, are certified at the Foundation level;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – DKW’s project managers are PMP-certified.

DKW’s system of processes, guidelines, tools, and techniques consistently facilitate the value-added to both our customers and our overall team success. We are constantly working toward additional certifications (e.g., ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001: 27000, IEEE, EVM, and CMMI-DEV Level 3).
