Short Term/Long Term Disability
DKW provides short-term disability insurance at no cost for all full-time employees. The plan pays 60 percent of the employee’s weekly earnings, up to a maximum of $1000 per week for a period of up to 13 weeks. Full-time employees receive benefits on the eighth day of an accident, and the eighth day of an illness.
DKW provides long-term disability insurance at no cost for full-time employees beginning on the first day of the month following one
full month of employment. The long-term disability plan pays 60 percent of the employee’s monthly gross salary up to a maximum of $6,000. Full-time employees
receive benefits after 13 weeks of disability. |
DKW provides

Commuter Benefits Program
DKW Commuter Benefits Program is very similar to our Flexible Spending Program; however, it allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for the purchase of transit passes (metro, bus, and railroad passes), van pooling, and parking expenses incurred while commuting between work and your residence. |

401(k) Retirement Plan
Employees may enroll in DKW's 401(k) Retirement Plan during any of our quarterly enrollment periods following 3 full months of service. For the 2006 plan year, participants may defer up to $15,000 in the plan. Participants are always 100 percent vested in the value of rollover and employee contribution funds deposited in their 401(k) account. Participants in the plan have online access to manage their accounts, through our plan sponsor, John Hancock. |
All DKW employees who are age 21 or older and have been employed for 3 consecutive full calendar months, may elect to participate in the plan. Employees may also choose to roll over funds from other qualified retirement plans upon enrollment in the plan. |

Employee Referral
DKW awards bonuses to employees who refer individuals who are hired by the Company. A referral bonus of $150.00 to $750.00 is paid to the employee after the referred individual has completed 120 days of continuous employment. |
